Titanic JudgementPlay Audio
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
Luke 24:2 1-22
Today, we delve into the most difficult part of the book of Revelation – the visions of God’s Judgement upon a sinful world. But as we enter into these difficult and often disturbing passages, let us take comfort in the fact that God has clearly offered all of mankind a way out. For the Bible says, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
As we read these visions together, let us take hope in the fact that we have this great gift, and let us take seriously the need for us to share the gift of God with others, so that all may come to know the love of God through Jesus, and be set free from condemnation and the Judgement of God.
