Samuel: The Kingmaker – Saul the BrokenPlay Audio
In the final hours of his life, King Saul, the first King of Israel, the man chosen by God, felt so alone, so lost, that he was willing to do the unthinkable. On the night before he died, Saul sought out a witch, a medium, in an attempt to contact a dead prophet!
To our astonishment, on that night, the Bible records that Saul did indeed speak to Samuel! And Samuel spoke the final words of doom to the broken King, “Tomorrow you and your sons will be with me.”
As pastor Dan shares his teaching on this story, one thing will be clear: kings of the earth, good or bad, can never replace the King of Heaven.
As it was with Saul, so it will be for all of us; we must chooklse God or the Devil, life or death. Let us hope we all echo the words of Joshua who once said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
