Today we examine the visions that speak about God’s great adversary, Satan. He is dark, evil, and bent on destroying God’s people. And we find him doing some very strange things; he’s trying to kill a woman and her children, particularly a new born baby. And he has help from some very evil looking beasts!
And as we read about this ancient foe, let us remember the words of Paul in Eph. 6.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
