Bethany in the ShadowsPlay Audio
Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!
Today begins the most Holy week in the Christian calendar – a week that saw Jesus enter Jerusalem, minister and teach in the temple, gather his disciples for the Last Supper, and then offer himself as a sacrifice for our sins. But before all of that, there was Bethany. Bethany was the place Jesus chose to stay during the Holy week. Strangely, he didn’t stay in Jerusalem.
Today pastor Dan will share a message about Jesus, Bethany, and the amazing way that God works in the obscure, lesser known places of life. Today we wave our palm branches, not with the skeptics in Jerusalem, but rather with the disciples of Bethany.
“I am the resurrection and the life.
The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.
