Mission is not “where you are,” its “what you do!” Today pastor Dan will conclude our Missions Month theme with a message entitled, “His Grace IS Enough.” He will be reminding us how simple our message really is and warning us not to add anything to the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that as you go, you will take the name of Jesus with you, and live out the mission that God has called you to.
Today we welcome Vicky Burke from Philip Aziz Center as our guest speaker. Vicky is the chaplain at the Philip Aziz Centre, a non-profit hospice providing respite, practical, emotional, spiritual and bereavement care for adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses, and support to their loved ones.
This week, Pastor Greg is speaking about how God has made all of us to be united together and interconnected. We are to come together in all things and not believe that we can ignore or otherwise be removed from what is happening to others. We are all created by God and by His Love we are all saved. Let us rejoice together, knowing that we are all brothers and sisters through Jesus Christ, Our Lord.
In today’s message Pastor Greg will speak of the change that comes from knowing Jesus and how different we become from the rest of the world. How once we meet Jesus, we cannot go back to who we once were and that our past, present and future have all been changed by Christ, to bring more love, joy and peace than we could have ever imagined.
In today’s message Pastor Dan will teach each one of us how to pack our “witnessing” bag so that we are ready and able to share the love of God wherever we may go. This is important because we need to remember that Jesus Christ commanded us to share our faith “as we go”, but often times we are not even thinking about it.
Today, on this day of days, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. But Pastor Dan has a secret to tell – a secret about Jesus. Jesus had a problem! And on this Easter Sunday, Dan will share some very sensitive information about Jesus Christ and a little problem that he had. A problem that is still causing problems today! We hope you enjoy our worship service today, and we hope that Jesus’ little problem is your little problem too!
