Today pastor Dan will share the hardest story in the book of Joshua, a story of sin, rebellion, and terrible consequences. Today we learn that God is not to be taken lightly. When His Word command us to act in a certain way, we must obey, or face the consequences. And worst of all, our sin often affects other people. The Promised Land is not be to taken lightly.
During the sermon today, Pastor Dan will share about the importance of praise in the story of Jericho and in the stories of our lives. Joshua and the people of God knew something that all wise Christians know – The battle belongs to the Lord! So ready your voices, prepare your praise, and make a joyful noise – it’s the best way to win the battles of life, and the only way to knock down the walls of opposition that come against us in our faith.
Change! This word may make you feel good or nervous, but it is inevitable and everything in this world will eventually change. This morning let us take a good look at ourselves, at our situation and know that God will never change but we can forever changed by Him.
Today Pastor Dan will share a message entitled “It’s About Time”, and challenge us to think about time as a gift. We all have the same amount of time in a day, but what we do with it varies greatly. Some waste it, some organize it, some manage it and still others fret over it constantly.
